I grew up in a small town in Grand Forks, North Dakota. I was the youngest of four children, had two brothers and a sister. After graduation from High School in 1969, I needed to make a plan for my future. My parents always thought it would be a great idea if I went to beauty school. I wasn’t too sure, but thought I would give it try. I went to a Redkin Pivot Point College , located in my hometown. I had three amazing instructors.. and they made it a great experience. Everything was done to Perfection, I’ve carried that professionalism all my years of being a Hairstylist. I graduated in 1971, It’s been over 50 years, I still love what I do… My dad always said , if you do what you love , you never have to work a day in your life! So True… I moved to Dallas,Texas in 1973 I worked in several different salons, but was never really happy … Until I found … Salon d’ Elegance, being self-employed is the best! It’s been over twenty years, still loving where I work and get to do what I love.
